A few months ago, we already heard that Madonna is co-designing a juniors clothing line with her thirteen-year-old daughter Lourdes. Now, the long wait is over! On August 3, the Fall 2010 collection from Material Girl will be available exclusively at Macy’s and on macys.com. Mary J. Blige and Catherine Malandrino New Clothing Line

I think R&B icon Mary J. Blige and designer Catherine Malandrino are one of the modern fairy godmothers. These two ladies seem to enjoy charitable works. Following their successful T-shirt line, Mary J. Blige and Catherine Malandrino collaborated to create Malandrino + FFAWN clothing line. All of the proceeds were given to Blige’s FFAWN foundation (The Foundation of the Advancement of Women Now, Inc.). This fashion for cause aimed to support some of the graduates of Women’s Academy of Excellence to college.

Katy Perry declared her love for Daisy Dukes on her latest single, "California Gurls". As she released her new music video, everyone's eyes were on her sparkling Diesel Daisy Dukes. The jean shorts was embellished with 700 blue and gray Swarovski crystals. If you want to try this new fashion trend from Katy Perry, let's review the origin of Daisy Dukes.


In the late 1970s, the figure-fitting denim shorts were called Daisy Dukes. They are popularized by Catherine Bach who played the role of Daisy Duke in the television series Dukes of Hazzard. She regularly appeared in pair of cut-off denim jeans.

Glee and Gossip Girl Cast for Another Op Ads

For their latest "Back To College" ad campaign, Op featured the cast of Glee and Gossip Girl for the second time along with other young stars. The new ads include
Glee‘s Dianna Agron and Cory Monteith, Gossip Girl star Jessica Szohr, 90210‘s Trevor Donovan and singer Cassie.

Celebrity Uma Thurman teamed up with Saks Fifth Avenue and Donna Karan to help fight the breast cancer. She will be featured in print ads and national public service announcement wearing a limited-edition T-shirt created by Donna Karan. All of the proceeds will be donated to local partner charities. Twilight Barbie Alice Cullen Victoria

Aside from Kristen Stewart‘s Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson‘s Edward Cullen and Taylor Lautner‘s Jacob Black Barbie dolls, Ashley Greene‘s Alice Cullen and Bryce Dallas Howard’s Victoria will join the Twilight Barbie collection this summer. The new dolls will feature Alice’s pixie hairdo and Victoria’s fiery mane and red iris. The dolls cost $25 each.

I'm sure that the Twilight fans will watch out for Alice Cullen and Victoria Barbie dolls as much as they anticipate the showing of Eclipse on the big screen this coming June 30.

Alicia Keys Giorgio Armani Concert Costumes

Aside from Lady Gaga, Alicia Keys will also wear Giorgio Armani as her concert costumes. For her "The Element of Freedom" concert tour, the fans will see Alicia Keys in four Giorgio Armani creations.

Marc Jacobs was named as one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine. When I checked the Time Magazine's website, I was surprised by the story written by Victoria Beckham for her friend, Marc Jacobs. Victoria praised Marc Jacobs for the changes he had made with each of his collection. Marc Jacobs must be very proud because he is the only fashion designed that was included in the list.

Meanwhile, some artists and entertainers like Lady Gaga, Robert Pattinson, Sandra Bullock and Glee‘s Lea Michele were also featured on Time‘s list.
